Child Safety and CSAE Standards

Last updated: November 2025

UpFront Marital Technologies Inc. ("UpFront") is committed to maintaining the highest standards of child safety and preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

These standards comply with global safety expectations and regulatory requirements. UpFront enforces these practices across all products and services.

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy for CSAE and CSAM

UpFront strictly prohibits:

  • Any Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
  • All forms of child sexual exploitation or endangerment
  • Grooming, solicitation, or attempts to engage a minor in sexual activity
  • Sharing, distributing, or possessing sexualized images of minors

Violations result in immediate account removal and mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other international authorities, as applicable.

2. Adults-Only Platform Requirement

UpFront is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older.

To enforce this:

  • Users must attest they are 18+ during account creation
  • Automated signals detect content or behavior suggesting a minor may be present
  • Human review is conducted when age-related concerns arise
  • Accounts identified as belonging to minors are permanently removed and cannot be reinstated under any circumstances

3. Proactive Detection and Moderation Systems

UpFront uses a combination of automated tools, machine learning, and human review to identify and remove harmful content.

These measures include:

  • Detection technologies that identify known CSAM through hash-matching and image analysis
  • AI-powered content scanning for inappropriate material involving minors
  • Behavioral analysis to identify grooming patterns or predatory conduct
  • Human moderation teams trained in child safety protocols
  • Regular system updates and improvements to address evolving threats

4. Procedures for Reporting and Law Enforcement Compliance

UpFront promptly reports any confirmed CSAM to:

  • The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
  • Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
  • Additional authorities as required by applicable law

Internal protocols ensure:

  • Secure evidence preservation
  • Documented moderation actions
  • Timely reporting within legally required timeframes
  • Cooperation during all law enforcement investigations

UpFront does not inform users when their content or activity is under investigation.

5. User Reporting and Safety Escalation

Users play a critical role in keeping the platform safe. UpFront provides easy ways to report:

  • Suspected CSAM
