The AI companion features, including Langston and Zora, are designed for mentorship, journaling, and engagement support. They are not licensed therapists or certified mental health professionals. All interactions should be considered non-clinical, and not a substitute for psychological, psychiatric, or legal services. Users are encouraged to seek professional help where needed.
Subscriptions will auto-renew unless canceled by the user at least 24 hours prior to renewal. Refunds are limited and only available in compliance with our posted refund policy. Users will receive a 30-day notice of any subscription pricing changes. Cancellations must be made via account settings or written notice.
We partner with third-party service providers to operate our platform. These include, but are not limited to:
These providers are bound by data processing agreements and selected for their alignment with CCPA, GDPR, and platform security practices.
Upfront is not a covered entity under HIPAA and does not provide medical, clinical, or health services. No part of the Platform is intended to substitute for professional healthcare advice. Users should not submit or rely on Protected Health Information (PHI) within the platform.
Upfront reserves the right to moderate or remove content, messages, or user profiles that:
Moderation actions may include warnings, feature restrictions, or account suspension/termination.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. All disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Users agree to waive their right to participate in class actions or jury trials.
All arbitration will occur individually and be held in Delaware unless otherwise agreed.
For material changes to these Terms, users will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app alerts. Continued use of the Platform after such notice will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
